This model uses metal material from the GA-2100 series, which inherits the ``octagonal form'' that was also adopted in the first model of G-SHOCK, ``DW-5000C'', which has continued to evolve in pursuit of toughness since its birth in 1983. The stainless steel bezel has a circular hairline finish and is coated with dark gray IP for a chic design. Additionally, the dial has been subjected to a vapor deposition process, making the simple design typical of the GA-2100 sharp and stylish. Furthermore, the band has a subtle checker pattern texture that gradually changes, adding a high quality feel to the casual resin band. This model maintains the concept inherited from the first generation, but pursues the quality of a watch and has refined its exterior and wearability.
