This kushikatsu sauce is popular around Tsutenkaku in Shinsekai, Osaka's mecca for kushikatsu, and is eaten by dipping. Daikokuya's special kushikatsu sauce uses Worcestershire sauce as a base, adds brewed soy sauce, and reduces salt and spices to create a mellow and delicious sauce. It's a mellow sauce that isn't too spicy even when soaked in plenty. We have created a dish that takes advantage of the flavors of the fried ingredients and is extremely light to eat. It can also be used in place of fried foods such as pork cutlets and tempura sauce. It also goes well with cabbage and can be used as a sauce for katsudon.
