G-SHOCK, a toughness watch that has continued to evolve in pursuit of insatiable strength since its release in 1983, is a model that uses recycled materials with the theme of sustainability. The band uses materials from ``FOODTEXTILE,'' a project that reuses discarded food materials as dyes, and the base model is the GMD-S5600, which is a smaller and thinner version of the iconic square design DW-5600. The cross band of GMD-S5600CT-3 is dyed with the color extracted from red turnips, giving it a gentle blue-gray hue. The cross band of GMDS5600CT-4 is dyed with the color extracted from cherry blossoms and finished in a soft pale pink. The gentle colors are characterized by the use of over 90% natural dyes. In addition, the band uses TRUE COTTON, a traceable organic cotton that can be traced to farms and spinning factories, reducing the burden on the environment while protecting the working environment and craftsmanship of everyone involved in production. Furthermore, the main resin parts of the bezel are made from biomass plastic, which is expected to contribute to reducing environmental impact by reducing CO2 emissions and other materials derived from renewable organic resources. What was meant to be thrown away has now been reborn as a watch that is environmentally friendly and sustainable.
