In 2018, 35 years after the release of the first model DW-5000C, the GMW-B5000 model will be released with a fully metal case and a Connected engine based on the concepts of "evolution of the exterior," "evolution of the structure," and "evolution of the module." The lineup includes two models: black and gold, with a full metal case and bezel made of hard stainless steel and coated with IP to create vivid colors. This time, the case and band have been given a hairline finish to maximize the luxurious and calm metal texture. Also, by using an inverted liquid crystal display, it has a more chic finish. The base model GMW-B5000 has undergone a review of G-SHOCK's core technology, the hollow structure, and has evolved its impact-resistant structure.
