Forever, Thunderbird
The feelings behind the name "Thunderbird".
The background to the birth of the International Rescue Team, as told by Gerry Anderson, is included at the beginning of the book.
The name "Thunderbird" was born from memories of his older brother Lionel, who was training as a pilot in Mesa, Arizona, during World War II.
A special special edition that thoroughly explains the timeless masterpiece "Thunderbirds" that continues to be loved all over the world and the future rescue organization "International Rescue Team".
We will introduce the world of the work from various angles, including an introduction to members of the International Rescue Team, the mechanisms of each Thunderbird aircraft, the activities depicted in the play, behind-the-scenes production (making of), and valuable setting materials and artwork.
Furthermore, we will explore the appeal of ``Thunderbird'' from the perspective unique to a model magazine, such as actual rescue operations, its relationship with international emergency aid, and replica model production methods.
Re-recorded carefully selected articles related to Thunderbird that were published in the monthly magazine "Model Art" at the time.
In addition, we have added new articles and additional photos by the original authors, creating a specially edited volume with new value as a reprint edition.
