How to read temperature
To read the temperature, calculate the difference from the temperature indicated by the dry bulb and use the humidity table. For example, if the dry bulb (left glass tube (dry)) is 18 degrees and the wet bulb (right glass tube (wet)) is 15 degrees, the difference (dry) - (wet) is 18 - 15 = 3. The current humidity is 71, which is the intersection of the 3 horizontal column at the top of the humidity table (difference between dry bulb and wet bulb readings) and the 18 horizontal column on the left vertical column (dry bulb reading) of the humidity table.
